1. Engagement models & milestone structure

CodeMyFYP delivers services under transparent commercial structures tailored to engagement type:

Fixed-Scope Milestone Engagements: Deliverables, acceptance criteria, sprint schedules, and milestone payments are defined in writing before sprint commencement.
Dedicated Engineering & Retainers: Monthly or hourly allocations billed on actual hours worked under agreed rates.
Academic Mentorship & Training Programs: Scheduled educational cohorts with defined curricula and mentorship hours.

2. Cancellation & refund rules by engagement type

A. Fixed-Scope Milestone Projects

Clients may cancel an active milestone prior to delivery with written notice. In such cases, unapproved milestone funds are refunded minus direct third-party cloud infrastructure costs provisioned specifically for the project. Once a milestone deliverable is reviewed, approved, and handed over via Git, milestone fees are non-refundable.

B. Dedicated Engineering & Retainers

Retainers and hourly contracts may be terminated per the notice period defined in your Statement of Work (typically 14 business days). Hours worked up to the termination effective date are payable; any unused prepaid hours or unallocated balance will be refunded within 7 business days.

C. Academic Mentorship & Educational Cohorts

Enrolments may be cancelled for a 100% full refund up to 48 hours prior to the official cohort start date. Once live classes and 1-on-1 mentorship begin, withdrawals requested before the second session are eligible for a 50% pro-rated refund. After the second session, tuition fees are non-refundable.

3. When refunds do not apply

Refunds are not applicable under the following circumstances:

Milestone deliverables that have been formally reviewed, accepted, and deployed
Third-party API fees, domain registrations, or dedicated cloud GPU/server charges already incurred
Academic grading or university viva outcomes that depend on independent student performance and evaluation
Project delays caused by client delays in providing environment credentials or requisite business inputs

4. How to request a review

To request a milestone refund evaluation, contact our support team at info@codemyfyp.com with your project reference number, detailed summary, and supporting notes. Our client resolution committee will review your request and issue a formal written response within 3 to 5 business days.

5. Amicable dispute resolution

We pride ourselves on transparent communication and long-term client relationships. If an issue arises, our leadership team engages directly to achieve a fair resolution.
