Problem statement

Academic institutions struggle to track physical assets such as lab equipment, textbooks, and consumables. Manual registers are error-prone and make auditing difficult. Students and staff lack visibility into item availability.

Intended audience

MCA, BCA, B.Tech Computer Science students looking for a full-stack web development final year project with real-world applicability.

Proposed solution

A role-based web application where administrators can add, update, and retire inventory items. Department staff can raise requests and track item status. All changes are logged with timestamps for audit purposes.
